The "Spark" that started it all

Twenty-three years ago I was introduced to essential oils and their healing properties. That sparked the beginning of my journey with using natural remedies to promote my health and overall well-being.  Having extremely sensitive skin along with allergies and managing eczema, finding the “right” products that met my skin care needs was a challenge.  After realizing the products that were ideal to use had harsh unnatural ingredients and synthetic fragrances it was clear they could no longer be a part of my daily self-care ritual. Seventeen years ago I made the decision to take matters into my own hands and began creating products for myself.

Conversations about "Self-Care"

I've had countless conversations aka "healing" sessions with individuals from all walks of life.  I would often get asked how did I "maintain" myself while managing my hectic schedule and my response was and still is self-care.  Many considered getting their hair done, a mani-pedi or having a spa day as self-care.  I agree, these are wonderful ways to treat ourselves but it's not always convenient or affordable.  Self-care is multi-faceted.  We have to be aware of what and how we do even the subtle things in life.  This awareness is vital to our mental, physical and spiritual well-being.

Sharing the "Experience"

Using essential oils and my products have been a consistent part of my daily self-care ritual because they help bring balance to my body, mind and spirit.  I also wanted my friends and colleagues to experience this feeling of being nurtured while enhancing their own self-care practices.   So, in the fall of 2019, after careful thought and consideration I made the decision to share my creations with them.  After hearing their experiences, receiving favorable feedback and orders shortly following, Care Filled Essentials was born.

Understanding the "Need"

The work of a woman is never done.  I'm a wife, mother, nurse, professional dance artist, Certified Aromatherapist and Reiki practitioner.  I can multi-task but I'm not a superwoman.  It's a challenge attempting to balance every aspect of life and I know I’m not alone when it comes to facing these challenges.  I've been a support system and advocate for many but especially for my SiStars because when you support the women you take care of the family!
